Privacy Policy

Atelier McNulty

Atelier McNulty (www.atelier-mcnulty.com) is the medium for the online marketing and selling of photographic fine art prints on behalf of Lance McNulty Photography (“LMP”). 

Information Collected:

LMP currently collects and processes the following information relating to customers:

  • name

  • postal address, email address and telephone number

  • payment details

Sources for the Information:

The personal information LMP collects is provided directly by customers themselves via forms on www.atelier-mcnulty.com.

Payment details are supplied to LMP via Stripe as nominated payments processor, while Squarespace is responsible for collecting and processing the customer information provided to LMP via www.atelier-mcnulty.com. Anonymised analytical website information is also received from both Google and Squarespace. LMP accepts no responsibility or liability for the privacy policies of these third party service providers, which are available for review in the relevant sections of their respective websites.

Uses of the information:

LMP only uses the information supplied by customers to:

  • carry out contractual obligations entered into with customers; and 

  • collect payment 

Lawful Basis for Collection of Information:

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the lawful basis LMP relies on for processing the above information is contractual obligation.

Storing of the Information Provided:

Customer information is securely stored in the form of electronic and paper invoices, as part of LMP’s business records. The invoices are retained only for as long as is required to fullfill LMP’s legal and regulatory obligations, after which they are deleted or shredded, as appropriate. Currently LMP is obliged to retain such records for 5 years after the 31st January submission date for the relevant tax year. 

Customer Data Protection Rights:

Under data protection law, customers have:

  • a right of access – to ask for copies of their personal information;

  • a right to rectification – to ask for inaccurate information to be rectified/completed;

  • a right to erasure – to ask for personal information to be erased in certain circumstances;

  • a right to restriction of processing – to ask for restriction of processing in certain circumstances;

  • a right to object to the processing of personal information in certain circumstances; and

  • a right to data portability – to ask for transfer of personal information to another organisation in certain circumstances.

Customers are not required to pay for the exercise of these rights for which, if requested, LMP has one month to respond. Please contact LMP at lance@lancemcnulty.co.uk to make a request. LMP will require proof to  confirm the identity of the customer. 

Complaints:

If a customer has any concern regarding use of their personal information, please make a complaint to LMP via lance@lancemcnulty.co.uk If a customer is unhappy with how LMP has used their data, they are also free to complain to:
